Heidi began her journey in animal rescue over three years ago as a volunteer dog walker at a Detroit shelter. Her passion quickly grew, and she became a dedicated foster, events team member, and part of the foster support crew.

After seeing the overwhelming need for more support and second chances for overlooked dogs, Heidi co-founded Underdog Rescue Ranch to help fill that gap and give every underdog a shot at the life they deserve.

She has fostered over 40 dogs (and counting!) and will continue to do so — because she knows firsthand that fostering saves lives.
